Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center assures compliance with the Department
of Health and Human Services Regulations under Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964.
No persons either patient or staff on the ground of race, color
or natural origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the
benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any
program or activity dealing with or involving the PASC.
All policies set forth shall indicate non-discriminatory practices
with regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, national origin,
sex, handicap or disability.
If at any time a patient or staff member perceives their rights
as being violated, immediate notification of the person in charge
in indicated and steps will be taken to strive for truth regarding
the violation in question and corrective action if necessary by the
Director and/or Coordinator.
The Patient's Bill of Rights is posted in the ASC as a matter of
public information.
